The CFFA face Young Africans in the second preliminary round of the CAF Champions League at 12:00 GMT on Saturday, with the first leg taking place at the Azam Complex Stadium in Dar es Salaam.
The Malagasy side, Centre de Formation de Football d’Andoharanofotsy (CFFA), reached this stage after an impressive victory over Lijabatho in the previous round.
They now meet Tanzanian giants Young Africans, widely known as “Yanga”, who go into the tie as strong favourites. Young Africans will look to draw on their experience in continental competition and establish an advantage in the opening match.
The outcome of the two-leg contest carries major importance, with the winner earning a place in the group stage of Africa’s premier club competition.
The return leg is scheduled for 21 October.
