Chippa United handed three-window FIFA registration ban

South African Premier Soccer League club Chippa United have been barred by FIFA from registering new players for three consecutive registration periods, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The restriction forms part of FIFA’s latest disciplinary measures against the club. It prevents Chippa United from registering new signings during the affected transfer windows unless the ban is lifted.

Nigeria international goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali returned to Chippa United before the ongoing season and remains one of the club’s key players.

The goalkeeper has also become an important player for the Super Eagles, having established himself as a regular figure for both club and country in recent seasons.
