Tom Dele-Bashiru was on target as Watford was denied victory by a late Sunderland equaliser in a 2-2 draw at the Stadium of Light, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
Sunderland took the lead through Luke O'Nien's 16th-minute header, but Dele-Bashiru levelled from the penalty spot on the stroke of half-time.
The 25-year-old's third goal of the season gave Watford momentum, and they took the lead just a minute after the breakthrough Imran Louza's fine finish.
However, Sunderland snatched a point in the 89th minute through Dennis Cirkin's equaliser, leaving Watford to settle for a draw.
