Arsenal are monitoring Eli Junior Kroupi and could make a move for the Bournemouth forward during the January transfer window, provided the 20-year-old has fully recovered from his injury.
According to Football London, the Gunners are paying close attention to Kroupi’s situation and may test Bournemouth’s resolve when the market reopens.
Kroupi impressed during his first season with Bournemouth, scoring 13 goals and strengthening his reputation as one of the club’s most promising young players. The attacker, who has Ivorian origins, has subsequently attracted interest from several European clubs, including Arsenal.
Bournemouth are not expected to make negotiations straightforward. The Cherries are understood to have set a high asking price and would only consider selling if they received an offer of more than 92 million euros.
That figure reflects the importance Bournemouth place on Kroupi, who remains under contract with the club until June 2030. His current market value is estimated at 70 million euros by Transfermarkt, meaning Arsenal may need to commit significantly more than that assessment to secure his signature.
Kroupi earns an annual salary of 1,192,975 euros, equivalent to 775,433,750 FCFA.
His fitness is likely to be an important factor in any potential approach from Arsenal. The north London club could decide whether to advance their interest in January once the forward’s recovery has been fully assessed.
