Nigeria forward, Tolu Arokodare was left in tears after making his debut for the Super Eagles in their 2026 World Cup qualifier against Rwanda on Friday, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The 24-year-old Genk striker was introduced in the second half of the match in Kigali, replacing two-goal hero Victor Osimhen in the closing minutes.
Arokodare's impressive form in Europe, where he has scored 19 goals and provided five assists for Genk this season, earned him a place in coach Eric Chelle's final 23-man squad.
