Manchester City striker Erling Haaland has joked that his new hairstyle means he attracts less attention when he is out in public.
Haaland changed his appearance unexpectedly at the end of August, shaving off the long hair that had been a prominent part of his image for a long time.
Discussing the public reaction to the new look, the Norway international said: “Now I’m not noticed as much on the streets.”
The change has come at the start of a strong season for Haaland. He has made five appearances for Manchester City in the English league campaign and has scored five goals.
Haaland has previously spoken about his feelings towards Manchester City, saying he values both the club and its supporters.
