Paris St-Germain midfielder Fabian Ruiz has identified Real Betis as the club he would like to play for towards the end of his career.
The 30-year-old Spain international began his career at Real Betis and wants to return to the club at a later stage. Ruiz is a world and European champion and has also won the Champions League twice.
Ruiz is under contract with Paris St-Germain until the middle of 2028, although his deal contains an option for an automatic extension.
The midfielder moved to France in 2022 after spending four years in Italy with Napoli. Despite his current long-term commitment to Paris St-Germain, Ruiz has made clear that a return to Real Betis remains an ambition for the final part of his playing career.
