Ferran Torres continued his outstanding start to life at Paris Saint-Germain by scoring in a 2-1 Ligue 1 victory over Marseille.
The Spain forward came off the bench to replace Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and needed only seven minutes to make an impact, putting Paris Saint-Germain ahead in the 66th minute.
Marseille soon levelled, but Marquinhos restored the visitors’ advantage almost immediately. Paris Saint-Germain held on to secure the win and maintain Torres’ remarkable scoring run.
The 26-year-old now has seven goals in six matches since joining the French club. Torres has scored five times in his past three appearances.
Paris Saint-Germain signed Torres from Barcelona in August for a transfer fee of about 50m euros.
