The Black Queens have announced their squad for the second round of the African qualifiers for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games, with two players receiving their first call-ups to the senior national team.
Rabiatu Maltiti of Ampem Darkoa Ladies and Margaret Agyapomaa of Police Ladies have been selected for the two-legged tie against Mauritius. Both players have previously represented the Black Princesses.
Ghana were given a bye through the first round of the African qualifying competition. Their second-round opponents were due to be the winners of the tie between Mauritius and Djibouti.
Mauritius progressed from that contest and will now face the Black Queens over two legs for a place in the next stage of the qualification process.
The first match will be played in Mauritius on Thursday, 8 October 2026. The return leg, which will decide the tie, is scheduled to take place in Ghana on Tuesday, 13 October 2026.
