Kelechi Iheanacho says he wants to continue scoring regularly for Bursaspor after helping the Turkish second-tier club move up to second place in the league.

The Nigeria international scored twice and set up another goal as Bursaspor defeated Muglaspor 3-0 on Thursday night. His latest goals extended his run of scoring in 10 consecutive league matches.

Iheanacho joined the Green Crocodiles on a free transfer this summer and has quickly become a central figure in the club’s promotion campaign.

The 30-year-old forward has scored 14 goals and provided three assists in 10 league appearances for Bursaspor this season.

Speaking after the victory, Iheanacho said he was pleased with both his own contribution and the team’s progress in the table.

“I’m happy with my performance, helping the team move up the table. We’re now second in the league, and we hope to get more points,” he told beIN SPORTS.

“Hopefully, the goals will keep coming for me, and at the end, we will crown our efforts with victory.”

His two goals against Muglaspor helped Bursaspor secure an emphatic win and maintain their momentum in the promotion race.

Iheanacho’s form has made him one of the club’s leading performers since his arrival, with his consistent scoring providing a significant boost to Bursaspor’s hopes of moving up from the second tier.

The forward now aims to continue his scoring sequence as Bursaspor pursue further points and a successful promotion campaign.
