Nigeria forward Terem Moffi has made a significant step towards his return to competitive action, resuming full training with Ligue 1 club OGC Nice, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
Moffi had been sidelined for approximately seven months after sustaining a cruciate ligament injury during pre-season.
The 25-year-old is now expected to be gradually eased back into action by the club.
Moffi's last appearance for Nice came in a Ligue 1 match against Lille in May 2023.
His most recent competitive outing was for Nigeria in a 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Benin Republic on 10 June 2024, where he played for 51 minutes in a 2-1 defeat.
Last season, Moffi scored 11 goals and provided two assists in 30 league appearances for Nice. His return to fitness will be a welcome boost for the Ligue 1 club.
