Inter captain Lautaro Martinez has been ruled out with a hamstring strain, the Serie A leaders have confirmed.
The Argentina forward underwent medical tests after suffering the injury, with Inter saying they had identified a strain to the muscles at the back of his thigh. The Milan club has not provided a timeframe for his return.
Martinez scored twice for Inter in Tuesday’s Champions League meeting with Club Brugge, but his side lost 4-3 at home.
The 2026/2027 season has seen the captain make seven appearances, scoring six goals and registering one assist.
Inter currently sit top of Serie A, ahead of Lazio on the relevant tie-breaker.
