Ismaila Sarr’s next move in doubt as Galatasaray renew interest

Ismaila Sarr’s future at Crystal Palace is uncertain, with Galatasaray preparing another attempt to sign the Senegal international during the January transfer window.

According to journalist Ekrem Konur, the Turkish club remains interested in the winger after exploring a move during the last summer transfer window. Galatasaray is now considering a fresh approach as it looks to take advantage of the uncertainty surrounding the 28-year-old.

Manchester United are also monitoring Sarr’s situation ahead of the January market. The English club’s interest adds to the competition for a player who has yet to decide whether he wants to remain at Crystal Palace.

The London club would like to keep Sarr and has reportedly offered him a new contract. He is considering the proposal but has not made a final decision about his future.

A new agreement with Crystal Palace would bring an end to the current speculation. However, if Sarr rejects the offer, the possibility of a departure during the winter window could increase.

Galatasaray may therefore seek to resume negotiations while Manchester United continue to follow developments. The coming weeks are expected to clarify Sarr’s intentions and whether a January transfer is likely.

Sarr is under contract with Crystal Palace until 30 June 2029. His annual salary is reported to be 4 348 684 euros, equivalent to 2 826 644 600 FCFA, while his estimated market value is 45 million euros.

Crystal Palace’s next fixture will be against Newcastle in the eighth round of the English championship. The odds listed for the match are 2,70 for a Crystal Palace win, 3,50 for a draw and 2,20 for a Newcastle victory.
