Monaco midfielder Alexander Golovin says the progress made by Russian goalkeeper Matvey Safonov since joining Paris Saint-Germain is clear.
“It is noticeable,” Golovin said when discussing how Safonov has changed after moving to the Paris club.
Safonov joined Paris Saint-Germain from Krasnodar in summer 2024. He has since made 52 appearances for the French side in all competitions, conceding 51 goals.
During his two seasons at Paris Saint-Germain, Safonov has won Ligue 1 twice and lifted the UEFA Champions League trophy on two occasions.
