La Liga president Javier Tebas has responded to Real Madrid’s complaints about refereeing decisions in their recent derby against Atletico de Madrid.

The match, played on Sunday, ended in a 2-1 victory for Atletico. One of the main points of contention was an incident involving Lee Kang-in, who stepped heavily on Federico Valverde’s foot but was not sent off.

Real Madrid were also unhappy with the dismissal of Dean Huijsen early in the second half. All three goals were scored after the 50th minute, by which time the visitors were already down to 10 men.
