Juventus assess Guglielmo Vicario’s future after impressive Tottenham loan spell

Juventus are planning to make Guglielmo Vicario’s move from Tottenham permanent by activating an €8m purchase option, according to football insider Nicolo Schira.

The 29-year-old Italy international joined the Turin club on loan in August, with the agreement running until the end of the season. The deal includes an option for Juventus to complete a permanent transfer.

Vicario has made five appearances for Luciano Spalletti’s side, conceding four goals and keeping three clean sheets. His performances have reportedly impressed the club, who are now preparing to trigger the clause in his loan agreement.

The goalkeeper remains under contract with Tottenham until mid-2028. His current market value is estimated at €12m by Transfermarkt, which would make the proposed €8m fee lower than that valuation.
