Juventus could make a move for Rayan Ait-Nouri during the January transfer window, with the Turin club closely monitoring the Manchester City left-back’s situation, according to Ekrem Konur.
The Italian side are looking to strengthen the left-hand side of their defence and regard the Algeria international as a potential target. Ait-Nouri’s limited playing time at Manchester City is understood to have increased Juventus’ interest.
A formal offer could be submitted as early as January if the necessary conditions are met. However, any possible deal would depend on Manchester City’s stance and the outcome of negotiations between the two clubs.
Ait-Nouri’s role for the remainder of the season could also influence his decision over his future. His position within Manchester City’s squad rotation, along with the likelihood of securing more minutes, may be important factors as he considers his next step.
Juventus are not the only club reportedly interested in the defender. According to exclusive information from Africafoot, Manchester United also want to sign the Algeria international.
Ait-Nouri is under contract with Manchester City until 30 June 2030. The 25-year-old left-back has an estimated market value of 35 million euros.
He has made three appearances in all competitions this season, providing three assists and playing a total of 123 minutes.
Juventus are due to face Lecce in their eighth Serie A match of the season. The published betting odds for the fixture list Juventus as favourites at 1.45, with a draw priced at 4.10 and a Lecce victory at 6.00.
