Kvaratskhelia suffered a cruciate ligament rupture during Paris Saint-Germain’s Champions League match on 20 October. The French side won the game 4-2.
The 59th minute saw the footballer forced to leave the pitch with assistance from members of the club’s medical staff.
The injury came during a significant period for Kvaratskhelia, who finished sixth in the voting to determine the Ballon d'Or winner on 26 October. The award went to Harry Kane.
