Kwesi Appiah will continue as Sudan manager after signing a contract extension that keeps him in charge of the national team until 2029.
The Ghanaian coach, who has held the role since September 2023, has been given a renewed mandate by the Sudanese federation as the country’s football authorities back the project he has developed with the Falcons of Jediane.
The decision reflects the confidence placed in the former Black Stars manager, who has helped create a positive momentum within the squad despite the challenging circumstances surrounding the team.
The agreement provides Sudan with long-term stability as they prepare for their next continental commitments. It is expected to allow the side to approach those challenges with greater ambition and composure.
