Lille’s difficult UEFA Champions League campaign continued as they were held to a goalless draw by Bodø/Glimt in Norway on Tuesday.
The French side travelled to the 4th matchday of the league phase looking to recover from three consecutive defeats and secure their first points of the competition. However, despite creating opportunities, Bruno Genesio’s team could not break through against the Norwegian champions.
Lille recorded eight shots during the match, with two on target. Bodø/Glimt managed five attempts and tested the visitors’ goalkeeper four times, but neither side found the decisive finish.
The 0-0 result leaves Lille still without a point after four matches. Their European campaign remains firmly off track, with the club now needing to find solutions quickly if they are to revive their hopes of progressing in the competition.
