Former Liverpool footballer Jamie Carragher believes Manchester City should receive a long-term punishment if the club is found guilty of multiple breaches of financial rules.
Manchester City has appealed the case and maintains that it will be able to prove its innocence.
The club believes a successful appeal would allow it to avoid any punishment.
