Manchester United are expected to offer Luke Shaw a new contract, with negotiations reportedly set to begin in January 2027.
Football Insider says the club continue to view the England left-back as part of their long-term plans, despite speculation about his future.
Shaw’s current deal at Old Trafford is due to expire in June 2027. Manchester United are nevertheless preparing to discuss an extension with the 31-year-old defender.
The club are also working to find a player who can provide competition for Shaw.
Shaw has made four appearances in the Premier League this season and has recorded one assist.
