Kylian Mbappe believes this is the right year for him to win the Ballon d’Or, with the France and Real Madrid forward among the leading contenders for the prestigious individual award.
Mbappe has spoken about the upcoming ceremony, which will be organised by France Football. The event is scheduled to take place in London, England, on 26 October.
“This is the right year for my Ballon d’Or,” Mbappe said.
The 26-year-old is regarded as one of the main candidates for the prize. The award recognises the outstanding individual performer in football, with Mbappe’s name included among the leading contenders ahead of the ceremony.
Last year’s Ballon d’Or was won by France and Paris Saint-Germain attacking midfielder Ousmane Dembele.
