Mesut Ozil has looked back on his time playing alongside Cristiano Ronaldo at Real Madrid and highlighted two qualities he believes were central to the Portuguese forward’s success.
The former Germany midfielder represented Real Madrid from 2010 to 2013, sharing the dressing room with Ronaldo during part of the striker’s spell at the club.
Ronaldo joined Real Madrid in 2009 and remained there until 2018. The 41-year-old is now playing for Saudi Arabian side Al-Nassr.
