Michael Olise wants release clause in new Bayern Munich contract

Bayern Munich are ready to open talks with Michael Olise over a contract extension, but negotiations are expected to be more difficult than those involving Harry Kane.

The Bundesliga club plan to increase Olise’s salary from 14 million euros to 25 million euros, according to AS, citing Sport Bild.

Olise’s main demand is understood to be the inclusion of a release clause in his new agreement. A fee of 200 million euros is reportedly considered likely to be sufficient.

The 24-year-old currently has no release clause in his Bayern Munich contract, which runs until the middle of 2029.

Olise has made 114 appearances for Bayern Munich, scoring 50 goals and providing 58 assists.
