Millwall Reject £20m Ipswich Bid For Super Eagles Star Femi Azeez

English Championship side Millwall F.C. have reportedly rejected a fresh £20 million bid from Premier League club Ipswich Town F.C. for Super Eagles winger Femi Azeez, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Azeez enjoyed an outstanding campaign with Millwall during the 2025/26 season, registering 11 goals and eight assists in 35 Championship appearances to emerge as one of the club’s standout performers.

The 24-year-old further boosted his growing reputation after switching international allegiance from England to Nigeria, scoring twice on his Super Eagles debut in Tuesday’s 2-0 Unity Cup semi-final victory over Zimbabwe in London.

Ipswich had previously shown interest in the winger during the January transfer window, but Millwall resisted attempts to lure the player away from The Den.

According to reports from Football Insider via Football League World, the latest offer from the Tractor Boys has also been turned down, with Millwall believed to value the Nigerian attacker closer to £30 million.

Comfortable operating from the right wing and cutting inside onto his stronger left foot, Azeez has attracted attention for his pace, creativity, and direct attacking style.

With his contract running until the summer of 2028, Millwall remain in a strong negotiating position and are under no immediate pressure to sell one of their most valuable assets.

It remains unclear whether Ipswich manager Kieran McKenna and the club hierarchy will be willing to meet Millwall’s valuation, with negotiations expected to continue over the coming weeks.

Azeez is also expected to feature for the Super Eagles in Saturday’s Unity Cup final against Jamaica after his match-winning display against Zimbabwe helped Nigeria secure a place in the final.
