Morocco target fourth successive futsal crown against Angola in Rabat

Published on: 21 October 2026

Morocco will face Angola in the 2026 Futsal Africa Cup of Nations final on Wednesday, with a fourth consecutive continental title within reach for the hosts.

The decisive match will be played at the Prince Moulay Abdellah sports complex in Rabat, with kick-off at 20:00 local time in both Morocco and Angola.

That means the game will begin at 21:00 in Algeria and 22:00 in France. Morocco returned to GMT on 20 September, accounting for the two-hour time difference with France.

Before the final, Algeria will meet Egypt in the third-place play-off. That match is scheduled for 17:00 GMT, in line with the tournament programme.

The final will be shown live in Morocco on Arryadia TNT and will also be available on beIN Sports 6.

The Confederation of African Football has confirmed that the match will also be streamed free on CAF TV, its official YouTube channel. Access will additionally be provided by several CAF international broadcast partners, depending on the territory.

Morocco unbeaten and yet to concede

Morocco, the three-time defending champions, have dominated the tournament on home soil. Hicham Dguig’s side have won all four of their matches without conceding a goal.

They opened with a 4-0 victory over Algeria before beating Zambia 7-0 and Libya 6-0. Egypt were then defeated 6-0 in the semi-finals.

That record gives Morocco 23 goals in the competition and none conceded. Victory on Wednesday would deliver a fourth successive CAN title, following their triumphs in 2016, 2020 and 2024.

It would also extend a run of dominance that has made Morocco the leading force in African futsal. They have not lost a CAN match since 2014.

Angola, however, have also won every match they have played at this tournament. The Palancas Negras defeated Egypt 4-2 in the group stage and secured a 3-2 semi-final victory against Algeria.

The final is a rematch of the 2024 showpiece, when Angola were beaten 5-1 by Morocco. Having finished runners-up two years ago, Angola are now aiming to claim the first continental title in their history.

To do so, they must overcome a Moroccan team that has yet to concede in this edition and has remained unbeaten in the CAN for 12 years.
