Naumov sees no reason for Aleksandr Golovin to leave Monaco

Former Lokomotiv president Nikolai Naumov does not expect Monaco attacking midfielder Aleksandr Golovin to return to the Russian Premier League in the near future.

Rumours of a possible move back to Russia circulated during the summer transfer window, but Naumov believes there is currently little reason for the player to change clubs.

Golovin is now beginning his ninth season with Monaco. The Russia international has made 273 appearances for the Ligue 1 club, scoring 40 goals and providing 48 assists.
