Former Barcelona goalkeeper Neto is close to returning to Serie A after agreeing to join Juventus, according to football insider Nicolo Schira.
The 37-year-old Brazilian is a free agent following his departure from Botafogo and has accepted the Turin club’s offer, Schira reported on social media.
Neto is being lined up as Juventus’ reserve goalkeeper after the injury suffered by Poland international Kamil Grabara. His proposed contract with the Italian club will run until the end of the 2026/2027 season.
The move would mark a return to Juventus for Neto, who previously spent two seasons with the club between 2015 and 2017.
