Argentine former footballer Omar da Fonseca has named 19-year-old Spanish winger Lamine Yamal as his choice to win this year’s Ballon d’Or, rather than Lionel Messi.
The prestigious award will be presented at a ceremony in London, England, on 26 October. Last year’s winner was France and Paris St-Germain forward Ousmane Dembele.
