Paris FC extend Rudy Matondo contract until 2030

Paris FC have extended Rudy Matondo’s contract, keeping the promising midfielder at the Ligue 1 club until 2030.

The 18-year-old joined Paris FC from Auxerre last winter in a deal worth €17 million, including bonuses. However, he initially signed an agreement running until 2028 because of regulations covering contracts for minors.

Now that Matondo has reached adulthood, he has completed the planned extension to his deal.

The France Under-19 international made 12 appearances during the second half of last season, starting eight of those matches under manager Antoine Kombouare.

Matondo has remained involved at the beginning of the current campaign under Liam Rosenior. He has played in all six of Paris FC’s opening Ligue 1 matches, although he has started only once.
