Eduardo Camavinga is unlikely to leave Real Madrid before the transfer window closes, despite the club being prepared to consider offers for the France midfielder.
According to Diario AS, Real Madrid would only sanction Camavinga’s departure if a potential buyer offered at least €70m. No interested club has so far come close to meeting that valuation, leaving the 23-year-old increasingly likely to remain at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Camavinga has also shown no desire to leave the club, even though he has lost his place in Real Madrid’s starting line-up. His position, combined with the lack of an offer matching Real Madrid’s demands, means a move before the deadline currently appears improbable.
Manchester United were reportedly willing to pay €50m for Camavinga, but that figure falls €20m short of Real Madrid’s asking price. Chelsea have also been linked with the midfielder, although neither club has come close to securing a deal on the Spanish side’s terms.
Real Madrid’s stance gives the club control over the situation during the remainder of the transfer window. The Spanish club are open to considering proposals, but only if they reach the €70m threshold set for the France international.
Camavinga remains under contract with Real Madrid until 2029. That long-term agreement strengthens the club’s negotiating position and means there is no immediate pressure to sell the player for a lower fee.
The midfielder’s reduced role has nevertheless prompted speculation over his future. Despite no longer being a regular starter, Camavinga has not indicated that he wants to seek a transfer. His preference, as reported, is to stay rather than pursue a move elsewhere.
Manchester United’s reported €50m interest and Chelsea’s reported involvement have therefore not yet developed into an offer capable of changing Real Madrid’s position. Unless a club meets the asking price, or the player changes his stance, Camavinga is expected to remain with the Spanish giants beyond the close of the transfer window.
For now, Real Madrid’s decision is clear: the midfielder can leave only for a fee of at least €70m. With no prospective buyer near that figure and Camavinga unwilling to push for an exit, the most likely outcome is that he continues at the Bernabeu despite his loss of a starting place.
