Napoli midfielder Scott McTominay is close to returning to action after being sidelined for more than a month with a mild form of benign arrhythmia.
The Scotland international has not played in an official match since the end of August. The condition was diagnosed shortly afterwards, forcing him to miss Napoli’s fixtures last month under manager Massimiliano Allegri.
McTominay was also unavailable for Scotland’s Nations League matches, meaning he was unable to help his national team during the international break.
Napoli have now received encouraging news, with the midfielder expected to be ready to return to Allegri’s squad after just over a month out, according to derbyderbyderby.it.
