Former Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos attended Castilla’s 3-2 home victory over Atletico de Madrid’s second team on Friday.
Journalist Alvaro Esteban reported that the 40-year-old former defender was in the stands for the derby. Ramos remains without a club and has not announced his retirement from professional football.
The Spanish defender has been a free agent since the start of the year. He represented Real Madrid from 2005 to 2021.
Real Madrid Castilla and Atletico de Madrid’s second team both compete in Primera Federacion, the third tier of Spanish football. Each side has eight points after six rounds.
