Diego Simeone has responded to criticism from Real Madrid head coach Jose Mourinho aimed at the officials following the Madrid derby.
Atletico Madrid secured a 2-1 home victory, moving to second in the Spanish league table with 16 points. Real Madrid dropped to fourth, having collected 15 points.
Simeone dismissed the significance of a coach’s status when addressing Mourinho’s comments, saying: “It does not matter if you are Mourinho, Flick or me.”
