Tottenham have no plans to dismiss manager Roberto De Zerbi during the current international break, according to TEAMtalk.
Sources familiar with the situation say the London club believe the Italian is the right coach for Spurs and can improve their league position. The decision represents continued support for De Zerbi despite Tottenham’s poor opening to the season.
Spurs suffered a 3-2 home defeat by Aston Villa in the fifth round of the Premier League. The result left them bottom of the table for the first time since 2008, with Tottenham having collected only two points.
De Zerbi’s side will attempt to respond when they travel to face Manchester United in their sixth league fixture on 10 October.
