Tottenham are considering a move for Amine Gouiri in the January transfer window as they look to strengthen and reshape their attack.
The Algeria international has already attracted interest from the north London club, and his situation is being monitored closely by the Spurs hierarchy. Roberto De Zerbi is understood to be a particular admirer of the Marseille forward’s technical ability and versatility.
The Tottenham manager believes Gouiri could provide a valuable addition to his attacking options in the Premier League, offering greater fluidity and variety in the team’s play.
However, any significant move during the winter window is likely to depend on Tottenham’s ability to reduce the size of their squad and lower their wage bill. Should departures be completed in the coming weeks, the club could make a formal approach for Gouiri.
The remaining question is whether Tottenham’s sustained interest will persuade Marseille’s decision-makers to sell their leading attacker during the January transfer window.
