Venezia have officially appointed Davide Nicola as their new head coach.
The move follows Giovanni Stroppa’s departure from the club. Stroppa resigned after Venezia were beaten by Atalanta.
Venezia have lost all six of their opening Serie A matches this season. Nicola’s first game in charge will come against Napoli in the next round of the Italian championship.
