Nigeria Super Eagles defender, William Troost-Ekong was on the score sheet for Al Kholood in their defeat against Al Ittihad in the Saudi Pro League defeat, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
Troost-Ekong opened score for Al Kholood that led 2-0 at some point in the gam but it was not to be as they fell 3-4 at the Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Stadium.
Ekong's header from a resulting corner in the 15th minutes was doubled by Maolida 8 minutes later for the hosts.
Hussam Aouar started the comeback for the visitors in the 35th minutes before Bergwijn levelled scores after additional time of the 45 minutes of half time.
Al Ittihad got into the lead for the first time in the game just two minutes into the second half through Hasan Kadesh to make it 2-3.
The fourth goal for the travelers came in the 52nd through Bergwijn who slotted it home from the penalty spot for his second of the encounter.
Maolida scored a consolation goal for the hosts two minutes after additional time.
