Jordan Ayew will earn £500,000 gross during his one-year contract with Sheffield United, according to Footy-Africa, after joining the Championship club as a free agent following the end of his Leicester City spell.
The Ghana international, who is 34, has signed for the Blades until the conclusion of the 2026-27 season. His agreement also includes provisions that could allow the contract to be extended.
The reported figure is equivalent to about 582,500 euros at current exchange rates. That would give Ayew a gross monthly salary of approximately 48,500 euros during his time at Sheffield United.
On a weekly basis, the forward is expected to receive around 11,200 euros before tax and social-security deductions. His reported monthly income after tax and other contributions would be slightly above 23,000 euros, although the precise amount will depend on his personal tax circumstances and any additional deductions.
Ayew brings considerable experience of English football to Sheffield United. He made 42 Championship appearances for Leicester City last season and scored six goals before his contract expired.
The move gives the Blades an established player familiar with the demands of the English game, while Ayew will now look to contribute both his experience and attacking ability to his new club.
The Ghanaian had also attracted interest from AEL Limassol in recent weeks, according to exclusive information reported by Africafoot, before completing his move to Sheffield United.
Ayew has spent much of his career in England and has represented the Black Stars at international level. His arrival adds another experienced attacking option to the Sheffield United squad as the club competes in the Championship during the 2026-27 campaign.
Sheffield United are due to face Blackburn in an upcoming Championship fixture, with the match scheduled as part of the sixth round of the English second tier.
